I would like to ask, so I can understand fully, what is the Coptic Churches understanding in regards to Christ Nature? In addition is this teaching consistent with what the Council of Chalcedon(I know that the Coptic Church does not accept the councils after the third ecumenical councils) teaches.

The Coptic and other Oriental Churches (Syriac, Malankara, Ethiopian, Eritrean, and Armenian) have all been accused of being monophysite in the past, but the correct terminology for them would be miaphysite. They believe the two nature join together fully. United but not co-mingled. Their Christology is in essence the same as both the EO and Catholic Church.

We use the term nature (physis) as a synonym of hypostasis. I believe it is agreed by us all (EO and OO) that Christ is one composite hypostasis.

I just wanted to add that the Catholic Church and the Coptic Church have been officially reconciled over the Council of Chalcedon and have come to an understanding about the nature of Christ, i.e. we recognize that we're both saying the same thing but using different terminology, since the 1970s.
