Idea for this board

	I think Beliefnet should create a section of forums or 1 forum for spirituality based on/inspired by science fiction and fantasy. I am spiritually inspired by things like Star Wars, Matrix, Lord of the Rings but I do not call any of them my religion per se. What do you think?

	That is actually an interesting idea. I believe that there are some Satanic ideals gotten from literature. And also a group of women who base their spirituality on the mythos of the fictional (as far as I know) Avalon from the "Mists of Avalon" series of books. If people can find spirituality in literature, why can't they find it in movies. Particularly movies that have created that spirituality from pieces of actual spiritual and religious movements, as Lucas and the makers of The Matrix did. But I do have a question. Given the fact that the filmmakers did create their religions from elements of actual religions, why don't those that find elements of the Jedi or the spirituality in The Matrix attractive explore the religions that these were based on?

	Shoot, just the idea of promoting the concepts from Literature is worth the Board.
