Are You a Narcissist?

Your score on the Beliefnet narcissism quiz reveals that you rarely think of yourself and get along easily with others. Is this an accurate description of you?

I agree totally with holden and so do I, I don't much like a fuss made about me, it rarely is, but occationally in my life, one instance springs to mind, but that's another story. I think that other people are more important than me sometimes - not a lot, but sometimes I do, and when this happens I am very envious, even jealous of them, but I'll try not to show it all that much not at all really I think but there u go !

Am I a narcistic person? In some ways I am, in some ways I am not.

I am often selfless in that I feel an empathy with many people, and wish to do all I can to help them or ease their pain. When I don't succeed, i feel anxious at the thought of their ongoing suffering.

However, I admit to also being self-centered in a way. Because I often focus on my inner self and what is going on there. I find that I am in a constant state of self-evaluation, searching for how to become a better person.

In this way, I am both self-less and self-centered.
