	Friday, October 28, 2005 Libby: Truth Is the Best Policy Indicting vice presidential aide Scooter Libby was the right thing to do -- he allegedly did not tell the truth before the grand jury. Libby is the new Martha Stewart. My colleague Charlotte Allen had the same thought: And the charge [wasn't] be revealing the identity of an undercover CIA agent (double boo hoo!), but that all-purpose refuge of federal prosecutors when they can't make substantive charges stick: misleading the federal investigators who couldn't make the substantive charges stick.
