How do I get started with the Beliefnet Affiliate Program?
You must first read the Affiliate Program Operating Agreement. If after reading the Agreement you click on the "I Accept" button, you will then be able to complete and submit the Affiliate Application. After we review your Application, we will notify you of your acceptance or rejection to the Beliefnet Affiliate Program.
Does it cost anything to become a Beliefnet Affiliate?
No. The Beliefnet Affiliate Program is absolutely free to join.
Does my website qualify for the Beliefnet Affiliate Program?
Anyone can apply for the program. However, Beliefnet reserves the right to refuse any site, especially if it contains unsuitable material, such as: (i) sexually explicit, obscene or pornographic content (whether in text or graphics); (ii) speech or images that are offensive, profane, hateful, threatening, harmful, defamatory, libelous, harassing or discriminatory; (iii) graphic violence (which may include certain types of game sites); (iv) content related to liquor, tobacco, firearms, drugs, gambling or crime or; (v) any unlawful conduct.
Can I still be an Affiliate if I have more than one website?
Yes. You can have multiple sites under one affiliate account. You can create links and generate reports specifically for each site, yet be paid with only one referral fee check for all of the sites.
I don't have a website yet. Can I still apply to be an Affiliate with Beliefnet?
No. Currently, you must have an existing website in order to become a Beliefnet Affiliate.
Can I participate if I live outside the U.S.?
Yes, but please note that the benefits of Beliefnet are primarily geared toward residents of the U.S. at this time. Also, please be aware that commission payments will be made in U.S. dollars only.
Referral Fees and Payment
How does Beliefnet track the number of click-throughs coming from my website?
Beliefnet uses BFAST technology (Be Free Affiliate Serving Technology) from Be Free to track the number of click-throughs you refer to Beliefnet.
How do I keep track of the number of click-throughs that my website(s) send(s) to Beliefnet?
Simply log into your Beliefnet account at beliefnet.reporting.net to access the online reports, where you can track your click-throughs and referral fees.
How much will I earn for each click-through?
You will receive $.05 (USD) for every unique visitor who clicks on a Beliefnet link on your site, and comes to our site.
When and how do I get paid?
You will be paid by check on a calendar quarterly basis when your account has reached a minimum of $25.00. If your account has a balance of less than $25.00, it will be rolled over to the next calendar quarter.
Do I have to meet quotas?
No. You can participate at your own pace, but there will be promotions throughout the year that will enable you to earn prizes for sending us the highest number of visitors within an allotted time.

Where will I find Beliefnet graphics, logos, banners, and buttons?
Simply log into your Beliefnet account at beliefnet.reporting.net to access the variety of linking options.
How can I download graphics and logos from Beliefnet to my website?
All the graphics and logos are hosted on the Beliefnet server, and the linking codes at beliefnet.reporting.net include the code for the graphics and logos.
Maintaining My Beliefnet Affiliate Account
How can I promote Beliefnet?
Beliefnet will provide banners, buttons, and text links that you can use on your site.
How can I change my Affiliate account information?
Simply log into beliefnet.reporting.net and go to the Update User Account section. If you would like to update your URL, e-mail affiliates@beliefnet.com with the old and new URL.
Promoting My Website
Can I change or personalize the images and links provided by Beliefnet?
No. It is not permissible to change or personalize any Beliefnet images and links.
Can I use Beliefnet in my URL or in the name of my site?
No. The use of Beliefnet or any variation thereof in your URL or in the name of your site will be cause for your immediate dismissal from the Affiliate Program. In such a case when you breach the Affiliate Program Operating Agreement, you thereby forfeit any earned referral fees.
What kind of advertising is prohibited?
Affiliates will be removed from the Beliefnet Affiliate Program, forfeit any pending referral fees, and the Agreement will be terminated if Affiliate engages in spamming, e.g., sending of unsolicited commercial e-mails. Beliefnet neither allows nor tolerates the use of spamming by its Affiliates.
Can I do a press release of other kind of announcement regarding my affiliation with Beliefnet?
No. Beliefnet will issue any announcements to the media.
