Norfolk, VA, June 28, 2011—Beliefnet (www.Beliefnet.com), the Web’s leading multi-faith inspiration and spirituality site and a property of BN Media (Norfolk, VA), will launch “Be the Next Beliefnet Blogger” contest in search of the next voice from within the Beliefnet Community on July 1, 2011. During the month of July, community members will compete to join the winning team of bloggers, Beliefnet Voices, in the categories of News & Politics, Faith, Hope & Inspiration, Entertainment, and Health & Holistic Spirituality.

The winner of this contest will join the Beliefnet Voices as a paid blogger and will have an opportunity to share their writing with the millions that visit Beliefnet each month.

Judging for the contest will be conducted by guest bloggers and veterans of Beliefnet Voices. They include: Nell Minow of Movie Mom™, Therese Borchard of Beyond Blue, Linda Howard of A Simple Life a Childlike Faith, Rob Kerby of Culture Wars, and Jennifer Jones of the Inspiration Report. The guest judges will select five bloggers to be further judge by their peers in the community.

After becoming a member, visit http://community.beliefnet.com/bethenextbeliefnetblogger and following the instructions on the group page to enter. Contestants must create a profile and post consistently through the week with no less than 15 entries from July 1 through July 31, 2011.

The winner of “Be the Next Beliefnet Blogger” will be announced on August 31, 2011.
