Since grade school when we were reprimanded for staring out windows and let our imaginations run wild, most of us have been broken of the habit of daydreaming and consider it an unnecessary waste of time. But taking a time out to stare out a window into the sunshine and let the mind wander to uplifting and light scenes can entertain and may lead to new, creative ideas. So take a deep breath and the next time you feel you’re going to zone out, allow yourself to slip into the zone and watch where your mind wanders.
