As we look back upon the holiday season, no doubt there are things that made us stop, think, rethink, or regret. That extra piece of pumpkin pie. That argument with someone we love. The overspending that’s now coming due. The insight we learned from a few extra moments spent in prayer. We’re always learning and growing, striving to be better and to deepen our understanding of where our purpose is in this vast world. The holidays provide many lessons for us to learn, and if we recognize them, we can put them to good use as we move forward. Thus, the days after the holidays will not be devoid of light and action, but rather an extension of the inspired, beautiful, and profound days we have just experienced.
