This hilarious comedian is the last person who you would think struggles with depression. His roles in Dumb and Dumber and Ace Ventura are classic, upbeat comedy, but he has credited a lot of his humor to his inner desperation. He revealed in 2004 that he had struggled with depression his whole life.  As a child his mother was sick and he would do the comedy in order to lift her spirits. His family struggled with poverty, and those combined events eventually led to him taking Prozac. Eventually he realized though that life was beautiful by itself, and was able to cope without the help of drugs.
