Flowers are a natural part of our environment. Wildflowers grow alongside the roads and cultivated flowers are planted strategically in gardens. We also find flowers in stores, businesses, and homes.
Children and adults alike can pick flowers and press them. To press, simply lay the flower between two pieces of paper and then place a heavy book on top. The weight will flatten the flower while it dries.
This project shows the complexity and uniqueness of creation. You can even identify the flowers by using flower identification books from the library. We discover every person is like a beautiful, colorful, joy-giving flower.
