10 Prayers for the Wild Space Beyond Midlife
Thank you for the palate of my face and body, to do with as I please.
Just as my looks are changing, sculpted by time and experimentation, so do I appreciate that you have made me in your image. I am grateful for the freedom to express my creativity in choosing how I show up in the world.
There are times I cultivate simplicity, sending roots down deep. Other times, I decorate with wild abandon. I can even choose to veil myself with invisibility in order to appreciate my private self.
But above all, I am grateful to you for gifting me with the ability to see beauty everywhere, including in the love that radiates back to me from my own mirror.
