At the age of 23, Julia Butterfly Hill spent two years living in an ancient redwood tree she called Luna, in order to protect the 1000-year-old tree from destruction. She speaks to us of how we can reconnect to the natural world in simple ways--and find our roots.

Julia Butterfly Hill is a writer, poet, and founder of the Circle of Life Foundation. She lectures across the U.S. and has appeared on CNN, the Today show, Dateline, and Oprah. Julia is the author of “The Legacy of Luna” and (with Jessica Hurley) “One Makes the Difference.”
