The Daily Scoop

the-daily-scoop-prayerMystics find meaning
in the minutiae of our daily doings,
but I've never found divine inspiration as I tail my dog,

so I can finally get off “doodie duty.”
Then again, it's a big, fluffy blessing
to have a loving pooch who protects the household.
All he asks in return is a healthy meal,
a public poop, and a good night's rest.
