Overwhelming

Money, job, kids,
errands, house, parents,
friends, clubs, church,
bills, appointments, cooking,
pets, planning, and volunteering
are becoming overwhelming.

I look to You and see You standing
on the quiet side of life.

I step closer and we sit and talk.
I share my frustrations,
while I enjoy the peace
of our downtime together.

Finally, I'm recharged,
and able to face the world again.
Thank You for taking time for me.
It makes me feel important,
and not so overwhelmed.
