Believe

BY: communitywriter

I watch the squirrels;
the birds; the chip monks
Running worry-free in my yard.
No bills; no budgets;
no financial planning for the future.
Yet, they live a fulfilling life.

A simple life with the ultimate trust
that You will provide
And You do...They know that...
So why do we worry
when You have promised us more?

Remembering all the care You have given;
the promises You have kept.
and the worries You have proven wrong.
I forget my worries and,
like the squirrel, the bird, the chip monk...
I Believe.

A "classic" angel, with wings and all lighted up, perhaps with pale skin and eyes of blue flame, seems to be less often glimpsed than do angels in the guise of ordinary folks of all sorts--male or female, young or old, tall or short, any race, any dialect, any description. end quote
