Today has been a hard day.
I feel so weary
and broken hearted;
beat down by life.
I need strength and energy
to carry on.
Help me to find
the courage to face
Whatever life
has to throw at me,
with the understanding
that this too shall pass.
Guide me to accept help
when help is offered
and the willingness
to give help when help is needed
Please give me the peace
to know all is well
and the knowledge
that I am not alone.
Tuck me in your loving embrace
and keep me safe.
