I bought myself something new. I’m totally un-sentimental; I discourage gift-giving. I trained my husband from early on— no cards, no presents. If I want something, I’ll buy it. The same deal goes for him. With all these virtual IOU’s, from years of simpler celebrating, I felt great splurging on a bracelet that caught my eye and spoke to my heart.
Being an owner of a faith-based business, I’m often approached by others who want to work with us. Because Prayables.com has a multi-faith mission, it isn’t as easy as you think to without an agenda. We’re always on the look-out for companies, organizations, and individuals to introduce to our community. Many contact me, all gung-ho to join forces. They tell me Prayables is the perfect fit, they are ready, willing, and able to change the world by teaming up with us to add more pray to a woman’s day. But you know the drill— no follow up. Something distracts them. The dog ate their homework, blah blah blah.
