But what about the third question? “What is your attitude towards the institution of marriage?” Given his own domestic situation and his attitude about being non-judgmental and not interfering in the personal decisions of others, it seems likely Buddha would choose: “If two people love one another they should be allowed to marry, regardless of sexual orientation.” However, we really can’t find anywhere that he spoke to the issue. So, we will answer that he would give it a low priority.
