Rev. Ted Haggard's scandalous resignation as head of New Life Church following
his admission of "sexual immorality,"New Life—the 14,000-member evangelical church in Colorado Springs, Colo.—has announced the resignation of the director of the church’s leadership training program for college-age men and women.

Since Haggard's resignation, the church's overseers began actively investigating the staff to determine if there was other misconduct.
"We recognize there will be increased scrutiny of our church in the wake of the scandal," said Rob Brendle, associate pastor for New Life church. "We welcome that process in order to reinforce the high standard of personal integrity and morality that has characterized New Life's employees for 22 years."
