Hello brothers and sisters of Islam. I have had the pleasure and opportunity to hear Minister Farakhan the last 4 years during his Saviors Day speech. I also have heard him speak twice since I moved to Atlanta. Many people continue to judge him according to his speeches years ago which he was a bitter man. However the prayers of the righteous availeth much. I have always believed that only God could change Farakhans heart and God is doing just that. He is not a perfect man but I believe he is one of God's men ordained to bring change to the masses. Since I have been listening to him these last 4 years not only is he speaking from the bible more than he is the Quran but he has been addressing the three major religions concerning living a righteous and holy life. He also made a statement that he asked God to make him like Jesus and I believe the transformation has begun. He is no different then some of the Christian leaders that have taught improperly about the Word of God.

"And the Jews and the Christians and the Sabians, and whoever does righteous deeds will have his reward with his Lord. Give Minister Farrakhan a chance to change his heart, for truly only Allah knows what is in his heart. Give him a chance to reject shirk, and bring his community into true Islam without such an emphasis on racial differences. For certainly, he has not killed any of the so-called "blue eyed devils" and we have forgiven murderers in every religion throughout history.

MUSLIMS ALL OVER THE PLANET HAVE ALREADY EMBRACED MINISTER FARRAKHAN. HE IS RECOGNIZED AS A FREEDOM FIGHTER OF ISLAM AND THE RIGHTEOUS. HE HAS NEVER STATED THAT HE DESIRES TO BE ACCEPTED BY NOONE BUT ALLAH. HIS DEFENSE OF THE DOWNTRODDEN HAS MADE HIM HERO TO THE MASSES OF PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD. WE MUST STOP REVIEWING HIM THROUGH THE EYES OF THE AMERICAN MEDIA BUT THROUGH HIS OWN WORDS AND ACTION.

Farrakhan revealed:- At the moment he has nothing absolutely nothing to do with Islam, he can take his NOI jokers and clowns and jump off a cliff and do us all a favour. http://www.islaam.com/sunnah/noi.htm Money and fame is what that dirty rat is after, may he die a slow cowards death.

If Farrakhan deserts racism for orthodox Islam, I suspect he'll be targeted by militants within the Nation of Islam. That's what happened to the late Malcolm X, when he did so.

The San Francisco (CA) Examiner newspaper some years ago had a series claiming proof that Fard was not even African-American, but was a New Zealander of part-Maori ancestry who started out selling overpriced "prayer rugs" to "Negroes" in Detroit and Chicago before coming up with this Nation of Islam heresy. Anyone else remember this bit?

If "going mainstream" means bowing to the Zionists and following those "approved" Muslims who have capitulated to Anglo-American-Zionist hegemony, no, Farrakhan will probably not "go mainstream". However, if "mainstream" means following the Qur'an in an effort to transform America into a nation under Islamic law, then he has clearly been doing that since 1955.

When has the mainstream ever been right? There is no history to show that a majority of the people no matter what they believed was right. If the "mainstream" is wrong, what good does it do to be in the stream? Muslims from other sects of Islam should embrace each other, why is Minister Farrakhan singled out like the entire world of Islam is not divided? (Shiite, Sunni, Hanafi, etc.) Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Said:"3 generations after me would no longer be of me." So who should be embracing whom? If Iraq and Iran (Muslim nations) can go to war, what does that say about mainstream? They clearly have more Muslims there than we in the Nation of Islam. Should we be trying to be more acceptable to them? No one from any of the other Muslim Nations has ever approached me to offer me Islam so now what? Do they care about those of us who were forcibly brought here and made slaves and if they wanted us to be "mainstream" then why not rescue their African family? May Allah embrace us all so we can be in His MAINSTREAM?

Alhamdulillah. It is good to hear that there's some hope for Farrakhan and perhaps the Nation, too. Dropping the racist doctrine could completely transform the misconceptions about Islam in America. Inshallah, the orthodox Muslims will be merciful as Allah is merciful and accept their brothers.

I believe that with Jesus Christ all things are possible. Minister Farrakhan, has lived a long life and seen many events during that time. Moreover, I believe that while he was ill, he might have sought God through His son Jesus Christ. Often Farrakhan makes reference to Jesus and there is something about that name which will convict you to seek more information about him. Jesus is the only true and living God. And the brother minister is probably realizing that.

Of course Muslims will accept Farrakhan if he embraces mainstream Islam. They'll likely even make him a cause celebre, as they did with Elijah Muhammad's son W. D. Mohammed. The question is, how would his own movement react? My guess is that he'll lose the respect of his underlings who want to retain the racism and isolation. Farrakhan himself split the movement when W. D. went mainstream. If Farrakhan himself goes mainstream, I'll bet some of his followers will create another split. Or two or three.

If Farrakhan goes mainstream I wont have anyone to laugh at anymore. I love to listen to that cancer infected kook ramble on about how whitey is the devil. It is fantastic entertainment.

I will reserve my opinion until after The Nation of Islam Saviors Day Meeting, and Minister Farrakhan outlines his new Beliefs. Inshallah (god willing) The Nation will come into the fold of true Al-Islam and follow the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammed ibn Abdullah, The last Messenger. However, there is such an ingrained doctine of false tenents, that I doubt if Minister Farrakhan can change it. The Qu'ran says "Allah will not change a persons condition, until they themselves want to change." Does Minister Farrakhan and The Nation of Islam really want to change themselves and their beliefs? Allahu Alim.

If Minister Farrakhan clearly embraces Islam, disavowing those elements of the Nation of Islam creed that conflict with Quranic guidance, many so called mainstream Muslims will embrace him. Why wouldn't we?

This is about as difficult as the Y2K problem, it did not exist. There is no problem, just do what needs to be done. There is only Truth....God. Like Saul who became Paul. The same zeal and energy used to deny christianty is the same zeal and energy he used to make it great....If only he will just go....

MAINSTREAM? what does that mean exactly?????

What exactly would constitute him going mainstream? I don't know much about the Nation of Islam. Would it mean he would start fasting and praying five times a day, or does he already do that?
