God requires us to love Him first so that we may understand true, honest, and unconditional love before we try to share that gift with another person. Even when love is great, it is never perfect. Even soul mates can disappoint, upset and anger each other from time to time. Searching for the perfect person will always fail you because there is no such thing as “perfect” when it comes to relationships. It’s our love for Christ that shows us how to love each other as well.
