No one travels through life in this fallen world without experiencing death and loss, which lead to grief. Grief is the means by which we process our losses, celebrate what we had before, mourn the vacuum that now exists, and come to terms with a new world – the one in which our dreams are significantly altered. In this difficult process we gradually and reluctantly turn from the past and once again walk to the future to embrace the life and love that God has in mind for you – and that will be very difficult if one hand still has a death grip on the past.
