We knew we were going to do a version of Jack and the Beanstalk, but instead of setting Jack on a poor medieval farm, we set him as the son of the owners of a small theme park called Storybook Town. We made Tom and Jerry the last two critters in the park's petting zoo. From that point on, it got a lot easier to write.”
