Prepping Picnic Food
Make sure preparation surfaces, utensils and hands are clean. Never thaw foods on the counter. Always marinate food in the refrigerator. While preparing dishes, never let raw poultry, fish juices or meat come in contact with other foods (it could cause contamination). Put out clean serving platters, plates and utensils for cooked food.
