While faith requires being convinced that what we believe in is true, knowing the truth is only half of what faith is. God's word must be hoped for, embraced and seized. And contrary to many lessons, faith is not mental delusion, presumption or self-deception, but a work of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. As Apostle Paul tells us inn Romans, Faith comes by hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
