That should have been "pay for".

Relax people, if you accidentally hover over the colored, underlined word and the little ad comes up just close it! I thought was a great article. Websites have to pay all of the FREE information they give us somehow!

I loved the ideas. I am currently a college student with a limited budget. I will seek to spend time with my loved ones which I feel I am getting detached from because of college. Thanks Beliefnet.

This article was a blessing. I am out of work right now. Our funds are limited. The ideas were great. I am finished with my Christmas buying. I set a very small limit; but I love the ideas you presented. The small things like spending time with your loved ones are the memories that you treasure the most. May we all learn something from this article. thanks much! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

This article is a blessing! I was laid off my job 5 months ago, with 4 young people, 3 in college still living at home, needless to say finances have been stretched. What a time to start a business! I am confident God is opening doors. I was looking for a creative way to share this holiday season on a very limited budget. I'm going to use several of these ideas and invite my extended family over for old fashioned game night! These ideas are great even after the holiday. How inspiring! Thank you.

I thought this was a very inspiring article. My husband suffered a serious head trauma while working 3 years ago. He is doing much better, but will never work again. We are on social security and are raising 2 grandchildren(13,&14) I have done much soul searching about what to do for Christmas and thanks to this wonderful article, I have soooo many ideas! And I think that the key word here is "creativity". We all have it in us, and I bet if you asked your kids for ideas, you would be totally blown away! Bless you for these inspiring suggestions!

I don't like the roll over with your mouse ads either!!! I mean you're enjoying an article and a stupid ad pops up and then you can't get rid of the stupid thing!! This is a very lean year for my family, no presents, no job for my husband and I wanted to read an article about how to have "Christmas without cash." Instead, I get to be annoyed by all the stuff we can't even think about having...nice...thanks for rubbing it in my face!! Now I will not be reading the article...what purpose does that serve? Why can't they just have the ads on the sides of the page??? Progress? uh, nooooooo!!

I think he is talking about the embedded advertising. In the article, if your mouse going over one of the underlined or colored "keywords", it brings up an advertisements..not so much a pop up. Originally I thought they were helpful links where we might get some idea's of say, where we could print up certificates.

Nothing is free...pop ups are the price we pay for having this wonderful site which is free to us and priceless for all it gives us. Merry Christmas!

These annoying popups for expensive gifts make it impossible to finish this article about not spending cash for the holidays.
