Nick Warnes is the organizing pastor of Northland Village Church in Los Angeles, California. Warnes believes that the church’s primary focus should be relationships rather than religious structures. He does not believe that there should be a disconnection between the neighborhood and the church; so Warnes and his team invested time with the people and sought out their needs. His church planting has helped spread faith, in a creative sense, while developing religiously diverse areas that are lacking. Warnes’s book Church Planting: A Move from the Exception to the Norm, discussing his quest for change, will be released later this year.
