Author Charles C. Johnson says America has a lot to learn from our 30th president. In his new book Why Coolidge Matters, he tells how in 1981 Ronald Reagan took down the White House Cabinet Room’s portrait of Harry Truman and replaced it with an oil painting of Calvin Coolidge, then hosted a visit to the White House by historian Thomas Silver, author of Coolidge and the Historians.
