Fear is ingrained in us from the time we are children - there is little hope of escaping it in our society today. It is projected onto us from well-meaning caregivers and family, through exposure to the media, and through many other channels, and it gradually builds as we grow - creating layers upon layers of intermittent fear. Today, so many of us feel heavy with worry on a daily basis - and it can be debilitating living with the weight of the world on our shoulders. If you are feeling hopeless and helpless, I have a few helpful strategies that you can implement to help overcome your fears and worries. They work consistently for me when I am in that space!
