Learning about Conviction from a Brave Teenage Girl. “There are two things that show conviction: one is how long someone has held a particular belief, and the other is how much they’re willing to give up for that conviction. I once met a teenage girl at a Christian concert whose father was an atheist and forbid her from going to anything involving God. His punishment for disobeying was a beating. Yet, this night, not only was she at the concert but she bravely chose to follow Jesus. This young girl taught me that you have not found something worth living for until you have found something worth dying for.”
