Silent monks "sing" the Hallelujah Chorus

This is the one that started it all -- 9.3 million folks have seen it on YouTube. But it's still hilarious.

BY: Rob Kerby

It's just a fun skit -- a bunch of high schoolers who to the delight of their audience pondered just how a bunch of monks who'd taken a vow of silence might put on a Christmas concert.

If you think this is hilarious, then you may not be so surprised to hear that 9.3 million folks on YouTube agree with you.

Furthermore, this skit has been mimicked worldwide -- with groups as far away as Hawaii and even Japan having a little fun with it.

However, this is the one that started it all.
