Take a nap or rest. Sometimes you can get so physically and emotionally flustered that you need to replenish yourself. Do this and, if need be, spray some lavender in the room or put on relaxing nature based sounds. Rely on others to help you. If you are having trouble metaphorically standing by yourself than it's time to call in your human activist angels (a.k.a., family and friends) to give you love and a shoulder to cry on. Let them be your pillars.
