Angels are beings that have never lived as humans with one exception – the prophet Enoch who was taken up to heaven and became the angel Metatron.  Angels are messengers of God.  There are hundreds of examples of angels at work throughout the centuries.  Angels are mentioned in all major religions.  They are mentioned over 300 times in the bible.  In the Old Testament, the Archangel Uriel warned Noah of the flood.  Lot talked to two angels  before the fall of Sodom and Gomorrah, and an angel spoke to Abraham in a dream.  In the Book of Tobit, the Archangel Raphael  restores Tobit’s eyesight.  In the New Testament, an angel tells Mary she would give birth to Jesus.  Archangel Gabriel told Elizabeth and her husband that she would have a son, and an angel to Mary Magdalene that Jesus had risen.  There are nine choirs of angels, but it’s mainly our guardian angels and the Archangels who deal with our needs directly.

When asking the angels for help, it’s important to remember two things:

1)     You have to ask them for help.  Because we all have freewill, angels can not step in (unless we’re in an emergency situation that is not part of our life plan) until we ask for their help.

2)     If we are asking for something that’s not part of our life plan, they can not answer that prayer.  If, for example, it’s part of your life plan to meet your spouse when you’re33 and you’re praying to meet this person at 25, the angels can’t help you.  So don’t give up faith if they can’t or don’t answer your question.  Affirm instead “I follow my soul’s life plan with ease and joy.”

There are 4 Archangels who are in charge of specific aspects of life.  Read on to discover how you can invite them in your life to help you.
