I volunteer at the local hospital in the emergency room. I go in and out of different rooms and greet people. I offer to pray for them or tell jokes. Whatever is needed to get their minds off of their worries.
A couple of months ago, I walked into a room and saw a small, very bright light move from near a young woman’s bed to my left. I watched it, looked back at the patient and her visitor, and then looked back to where I had seen the angel. I was speechless and didn't know what to say or do. I told the people in the room that I had just seen something. They knew something happened because they were watching my face and where I was looking in the room. I apologized and told them I would be back.
The next room I went to had an older man who had fallen and cut his head very badly. He was alone and covered with blood. I had never saw so much blood before in my life. I was able to look at his cut closely and talk to him without any problems. I started telling him jokes when the doctor came in and proceeded to staple and stitch him up.
I know the angel came to get me out of the room that I was not needed in and to give me the strength to handle what I was going to see in the room that I was needed in. I can now watch when a technician takes blood from me without any problems. I always had to look away before. I will never forget what my angel did for me and for the man who was all alone until I went to tell him jokes. Thank you God for this lovely blessing!
