When my daughter was about two and a half-years-old, she began to tell me that she was seeing "bad mans" in places where I couldn't see anyone. Not long after that she also began to have nightmares...waking up screaming and saying that the "bad mans" were scaring her.

A few months ago (shortly after she turned 3), I was putting her to bed when she looked at me, took my hands into hers, and said "Mommy, help me pray to my angel to keep the bad mans away so I don't have scary dreams." Having never prayed with her before and not knowing much about angels myself, I was shocked. That night I said a prayer for her angel to watch over her and keep her safe. She then said her own prayer to her angel and we had the first quiet night in many months.

We have prayed together to her angel almost every night since then and have had great results. Over the months my daughter has explained to both my mom and I on a couple occasions what her angel looks like but doesn't say much else about it. Just last Saturday night, as we were getting ready for bed, she asked me if I know what her angel’s name is. I told her I didn't but that she could ask her angel herself.

The next night, as we were getting ready to say our prayer, she informed me that her angel’s name was Raphael. This struck my curiosity because I didn't know where she could have possibly heard this name before. I decided to look it up on the internet and was blown away when I read that Raphael is one of the four archangels. I have seen his amazing healing powers through my daughter and I am excited to research more on these angels.
