When I first read Doreen Virtue’s angel signs book last year, it helped me tremendously. One day, I talked out loud to Jesus and the angels about my former fiancé. He had changed his mind [about marriage] and I was crushed. I specifically asked for a sign based on what I read in the book to confirm my prayer had been heard. I prayed that I would hear from my fiancé again so the air could be cleared and I could understand why [he broke off the engagement].

Several minutes after praying, I went in the direction where my car was parked. I looked down and there was a feather, several inches long. I was stunned. I picked it up and continued walking. I found three more feathers within a few inches of each other and I even saw a tiny Ziploc bag next to them. How about that. A bag to keep them all in. I knew I had been heard.

Since that fateful day in March 2009, I have found and amassed over 100 feathers of all sizes and colors. I keep them in a jar on my computer stand.  It's astounding.
