Rick Warren: What do faith, friends and fitness have to do with losing weight?
Friends, fitness ... and faith!
In the Book of Daniel, a group of young war hostages is tempted with rich food and drink which they refuse to accept – since it violates dietary laws their people have followed faithfully for centuries. The resourceful young Daniel presents his captors with a challenge. He and his friends will follow their dietary laws for 10 days. Everybody else will eat the rich, unhealthy food provided by their captors. After 10 days, they’ll see who is healthiest.
