Day 2: The Joy of Weight Loss

The key to happiness and peace of mind is to surrender to God. Surrender everything. Mistakes. Bad luck. Foiled attempts. Anger. Hatred. Envy. Resentment. Inferiority. Obesity. Sickness. All pain and suffering.
Surrender also your successes. Good fortune. Laughter. Love. Peace. Money. Joy. Health. Pleasure. Surrender the belief that you're alone and that everything's about you. Surrender having to do everything all by yourself. Surrender your life. Give all to God in whom you will find peace and happiness.When you surrender, you're connecting to and uniting with your spiritual Source. In this way, your worries and fears can begin to dissolve away. You are then fully able to be the person you were created to be, and everything becomes all right. Allow yourself this amazing miracle!
TODAY
1. Add one more item to your gratitude list. More if you want, there's never too much joy!
2. Take time to meditate or pray. Even a few seconds or minutes in silence can connect you to our inner Source. Thank God, again and again, for what you've got.
3. Surrender your problems, and your joys. Do this by simply praying, "God, I need help. I cannot do this alone." This is the most powerful act anyone can ever do.
