Distract yourself. If you sit quietly and think about your hunger constantly, you will overeat. But if you get hungry and then find something to occupy yourself, you will find that hunger works like a snooze alarm. It will go away and then come back later. If you devote virtually all of your waking hours to worrying about food, you will find out that you pretty much are always hungry. Instead, stay as busy as you reasonably can be. Don’t starve yourself, but realize you do not have to feed yourself every time you think of eating.
