We all know that there are many sugary cereals on the market, but if you steer your cart toward “raisin bran” thinking you are going low sugar, think again. A one-cup serving of raisin bran delivers 18 grams of sugar (that’s more than a serving of Kellogg’s Honey Smacks or Big G’s Count Chocula). Bran flakes by themselves contains a surprising amount of sugar—15 grams per cup.
