Common sense should prevail. Moderation in diet is always the best rule to follow, and gluten is no exception. You can't go wrong by adding more fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet and cutting back on gluten-laden processed foods. Check the label. If you count more than five ingredients, put that product back on the shelf and select a healthier alternative. Unless you have been diagnosed with celiac disease, or have determined that you have an allergy to gluten, it's unlikely you need to be gluten-free.
