Including Dyslexic People Lowers Classroom Standards
Every child has a different way of learning and a teacher should accommodate all learning styles. Dyslexic students will have to learn the curriculum in a specialized way. Adjusting teaching techniques will not lower a classroom's standards. Furthermore, many standards of learning that are currently in place are poor predictors of academically successful children. It is quite possible that techniques that are used by a dyslexic student could be beneficial to other students.
