Early to Bed: Sleeps plays a crucial part in weight loss. The less sleeping hours you log in, the more likely you are to expand—your waistline and your thighs—not your horizons! Lack of sleep causes our body to produce lower levels of an appetite regulating hormone (leptin) and higher levels of a hormone produced by the stomach that sends out hunger signals to the brain (ghrelin). In other words, lack of sleep affects your appetite and sets your body for weight gain. Take advantage of the shorter days of autumn. Remember, early to bed, early to rise makes a women healthy, wealthy and slim!
