I was diagnosed with FMS back in 2004, and since then my life has changed dramatically. The hardest part for me was loosing the person I was before FMS. I went from being a strong, independant and self sufficient person, to one who can hardly get a few hours of work done in a day. I do not do well with people helping me and having restrictions now is very hard to deal with. I literally have to push myself alot of the times, but the downside to doing to much is, I pay dearly for it days afterwards. My pain is being managed, but without the pain medicine, I would literally be bed ridden. I do have to say, and I give all the glory to God, for helping me through many days when I couldn't get through the day on my own. There were days when I was so weak, in pain or sick that I couldn't get out of bed. If it weren't for his mercy and love for me, I wouldn't have. There are many times when the pain won't allow me to sleep. And there are many, many night's when I can't get to sleep to save my life. And what I do is simple, I pray. I ask God to take the pain and to please let me sleep, and I thank him because he does. I would like to say trust in God, he is there for you. If you are having a bad day, call on him and his Angel's. And if you do, I think you'll be amazed when you realize that you are making, and just made it through that day :) Glory to God!!! I pray for all who suffer with FMS. May God ease your pain, help you to sleep in peace, help you through the tuff times, comfort you, and bring peace into your lives again. God Bless you all and may he keep you in his constant and loving care. wthdove

Hi I'm new to making comments on the website but I could not pass up the opportunity to comment on this Breath Prayers for Fibromyalgia .. It blew me away, I cried. I was diagnosed with FMS back in 1998 and I've suffered exactly as it was discribed above in the prayers. And especially when I'm under alot of stress it flares up. I've been depressed especially since I lost my husband of 24 years last November and I'm trying to move on but having a difficult time. The medication makes me want to sleep alot and I just wish I could get off all these medications and start all over and try to take one thing at a time and see what works good and what doesn't. So I hope to get to know some of the Members on here and hopefully I can learn more to help my family and friends understand better. My husband was my biggest supporter he helped me so much now my son is helping me but he doesn't really believe in "FMS" so I don't have a "real" support like I had from my husband. May all of the FMS individuals find peace, and pain free days ahead.

I have had fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome for 2 1/2 years now. I had to leave my career because the pain, fatigue, and brain fog were too much. I struggle with finding serenity through the pain. Praying is a great way to find serenity. I am not Christian, but I am spiritual and feel that the prayers in this article are universal. We are struggling with a baffling disease, and often lack the support from medical professionals, friends, and family. We can find solace in a higher power. Thank you to the author for reminding me of this today.

Hello Everyone, Jesus did His Father's Will on the Earth. Everything that Jesus did here on Earth was to show us the nature of His Father God in Heaven. Jesus brought the will of God in on the scene. He was all God, but He came to the earth and became all man with the purpose of redeeming man from the bondage's of sin, sickness, and poverty. What He did was reflective of heaven on the earth. The nature of God is healing and Jesus displayed that nature (His will) on the Earth!!! When God's Living Word was spoken, did it not create what was spoken. Does not His Living Word say that when 2 or more stand together and pray, whatsoever you speak in the name of Jesus, it shall be done!!! Believing with all your Mind, Body, and Spirit what His Living Word will do. My sons and daughters, give attention to My words... for they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh, in the Name of Jesus (Proverbs 4:20-22) according to thy Living Word, in the Name of Jesus. We must pray all things in Faith, believing that the Living Word of God will do what is spoken, in the Name of Jesus. Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you, in the Name of Jesus (James 4:7) Command the Disease, Sickness and any Infirmity to leave your body, (physical, mental or spiritual) in the Name of Jesus. Command Healing to your body now, in the Name of Jesus. Bind and Rebuke the devil, casting him into hell and out of your life forever, in the Name of Jesus. Have another believer stand with you agreeing with you for all you ask, in the Name of Jesus. It will be done, in the Name of Jesus. Do not be afraid; only believe, in the Name of Jesus (Mark 5:36) I am the Lord who heals you, in the Name of Jesus (Exodus 15:26) By His stripes we are healed, in the Name of Jesus (Isaiah 53:5) "Let the weak say, I am strong", in the Name of Jesus (Joel 3:10) Thank You Lord for Your Living Word and for what it is doing in my life, in the Name of Jesus. Praising God always in all situations in my life, good or bad. Amen & Amen. Lots of love your brother in Christ Jesus, Dave.

I have Fibromylalgia and I've had it for about 15 years. There are days I can't hardly walk from one room to another. Every inch of my skin is sore to touch. There are days when I open my eyes I can tell if it's going to be a good or bad day. I was taking Lycira, but it caused me to gain 20 pounds and had to stop because of that and the swelling of my legs and ankles. I would love to wake up and for about a week feel normal, but I don't think that will ever happen. I just have to do what I can, God doesn't give us more than we can handle, I know that to be true, Ruth

This is very similar to my experiences with M.E. It's fantastic to know that there are others going through the same thing and you are not alone . thanks

wonderful piece on fibromyalgia. Each page told of the exact feelings when one has this problem. Everyone should read it. I wish it was in a small book form that everytime I run into someone who is a nonbeliever, I could just hand it to them. thanks.
