A lot is written about interfaith weddings. But how should an mixed-religion family cope with death?

l converted to Judaism, and l am a hospice volunteer. l would love to be able to follow through with the Jewish customs of mourning, Kaddish, shiva, yarhzeit, for my parents, because that would help my grief. However, they are born again Christians, and that would not honor them, based on how they feel about my conversion. certainly l will honor them in the way they want/would have wanted. l will probably privately find/create a prersonal tradition that is consistant with my Judaism, and not at odds with their Christianity. after all, they did attend my Jewish wedding and gave us a King James Verson Bible for our gift! :-)
