Why didn’t I get my miracle?
God, are You there?
To fully trust in the love of God is to dive headlong into his pool of mercy without having to beg him to fill it. We dive without fearing that the pool might be empty, or that the pool will move. We dive believing that even if it takes us thirty-eight years to pass through a void, that even if we have no loving friends and no earthly hope, his love is timeless and his mercy is bottomless. It will catch us. Always. And if that’s not a miracle, I don’t know what is.
