On Beth’s journey to find her miracle she asks a stranger if he believes in them. “I believe in miracles every day,” he says. “You mean miracles happen every day?” she asks. And he replies, “I mean I believe in them every day. Some days you get up and can’t believe they’re possible. Or you don’t want to. So every day I get up and believe in them all over again.” I think the only kind of person who can hold onto such faith is the one who believes that God is good, even when circumstances are not.
