Cards everywhere! In the 1960’s Americans began seeing plastic cards that you could use as payment. Today, nearly every business and government agency accepts and even encourages credit cards. Airlines are a prime example of this trend. On most airlines, your $5 bill won’t get you a snack box; you need to swipe your card in order to avoid begging for extra peanuts.
