St. Catherine of Siena
St. Catherine of Siena died at the age of 33 in Rome. The people of Siena wanted to smuggle her body out of the city for veneration. They decided that they could not take the entire body and took her head instead. When the Roman guards stopped them to look into the bag, the people prayed to Catherine for help and instead they found rose petals. Her mummified head is on display in Sienna.
