Questions to Ask When Blending Church Homes
Which is a Better Fit for Us?
If the two of you are intrigued by the idea of changing denominations or churches, now is the time to start thinking about how you see yourself practicing your faith in the future. Think about which style of worshipping feels right for both of you. Analyze how both churches make you feel. Do you feel inspired after attending services? Or do you feel like you just checked a to-do item off your list? Wherever you worship, you should leave feeling that your faith in God has been strengthened!
Write down what you love about each denomination or church. Then add in a few things you wish you could change to the list. Compare the two and discuss each list without any assumptions or negative notions. If you’ve discussed the topic and decided that neither one of you is ready to change churches, move on to the following questions.
